From your first idea to the finished project

Building work is easier to manage when you understand what happens next. Our process is divided into five clear stages.

1. Initial consultation
We begin by discussing what you want to achieve, your priorities, the property and your available budget. Once we understand the proposed project, we can advise you on the most appropriate next step.

2. Design and preparation
Where design work is required, we develop the layout, specification, materials and practical requirements before construction begins. For extensions and conversions, this stage may also include architectural drawings, structural calculations, planning requirements and Building Control approval.

3. Quotation
You will receive a quotation setting out the work and resources required to complete the agreed project. You will have the opportunity to discuss the specification and proposed cost before deciding whether to proceed.

4. Construction
Once the design, specification and quotation have been agreed, construction can begin. The work is managed throughout the build, and you are kept informed as the project progresses.

5. Inspection and handover
When construction is complete, the finished work is inspected and any final details are addressed before the completed space is handed back to you.
